Major retailer provides funds to support George R. Staley Upper Elementary School’s reading and literacy programs
Staley Upper Elementary staff raised awareness for autism in April. Staff wore their, ‘Give A Hoot! Autism Awareness’ t-shirts every Friday during April and donated a $1 each week. “The building wide initiative raised a total of $346 so sensory equipment can be purchased," said Nikki DeBlasiis, speech teacher who helped to coordinate the effort.
