The Rome City School District has a proud history and a bright future.  Our high school was one of seventeen free-academies formed in the 1860's. 

The District is comprised of six elementary schools (grades K - 4); one upper elementary school at Staley (grades 5 - 6); one middle school at Strough (grades 7 - 8) and one high school (grades 9 - 12). Our Pre-K Program and Forever Growing is housed at the former Clough Elementary School which also serves as the new site for our District Office!
