SUPAC presents "Understanding the IEP" which walks families through the New York State standard IEP form and helps them to understand the various components of the IEP and how it impacts their child's education program. "Understanding of the IEP" will also aid families in creating individualized and useful programs to reflect the unique needs of their child in order to help promote positive educational outcomes.

9th Annual Autism Institute - Transitions to Work and Social Skill Development
Join us as autism experts Dr. Bridget Taylor and Dr. Peter Gerhardt provide an overview of effective transition programming - at any age - with the ultimate goal being a life of dignity, competence and quality for those with ASD. Sessions will also focus on existing research that has documented the efficacy of interventions to facilitate social responses and language skills in children with autism. This conference is for parents, family members, individuals with autism, teachers and other professionals.

Family Members: $45 • Professionals: $95

Fees include attendance, continental breakfast and
lunch, as well as snacks and all registration materials.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

VESID/Vocational Rehabilitation Services


VESID
- Vocational Rehabilitation Regional Offices provide services to individuals with disabilities to prepare them for employment.
