The Gansevoort school YMCA after school program runs everyday from 3:00-6:00pm. Students are provided with a snack, homework assistance and activities and crafts. Parents pick up students in the back of the school. For more information click on link below. http://www.ymcatrivalley.org
Camp CEAL is a community after-school program in which fourth graders can participate in recreational activities run by Rome Free Academy students. Camp CEAL is sponsored by: Rome City School District and City of Rome, Weed and Seed Program.
The program's design is to teach character educational skills to students while having fun. Some activities may include group games, new games, arts and crafts, skits/drama, group cooperatives, fitness, health and cultural activities.
The program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays. Sessions start at 3:00pm in Gansevoort's Gymnasium and ends at 4:30pm. Parents arrange for transportation home.
