MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Gansevoort Elementary School is to foster:

· A commitment to excellence.

· A commitment to raise student achievement by 10-15% annually to reach a goal of 90% of students reading on grade level (as measured by AIMS Web).

· A love of learning in an innovative, cooperative climate which empowers all students to be competent, productive, caring and responsible citizens.
