The Grounds Department is staffed with six Groundsmen and a Supervisor and is responsible for mowing 182 acres of lawn that includes 35 acres of sports fields. Snow removal is performed on over 35 acres of parking lots and walks.  The Grounds Department at Rome is acklowledged to have one of the best departments in Central New York.
