It's the start of a new year and I'm excited to welcome back both the 8th graders, and the incoming 7th graders. It is going to be a great year! At Strough we follow the 3 R's: Respect yourself, Respect others and Respect your school. Here, education comes first and we have clear expectations of our students. However, we also want our students to have some fun and enjoy their time in middle school. That's why we have the end of the year carnival and the Christmas pizza party. We also offer a top notch Drama program, Civil Air Patrol and have added new clubs such as Ski Club and Reality Check. Education is the key to success. And, to enhance our students' education we have created a new science and a new technology lab. Of course we have exceptional teachers, both old and new and a great support staff as well. We are here to help your child succeed. But, we also need your help. You can do that by reading the newsletters to find out what is happening in school, by attending PTO meetings, parent workshops and more.
