Supported Learning Programs

The Supported Learning Department of Rome City School District primarily aims to provide comprehensive special education programs and services for students. Parents who are concerned about their child's academic progress may simply contact their school psychologist and a detailed evaluation will be held to determine if a student qualifies for services.

Students that already have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) will have an annual CSE meeting to review their services, supports and accommodations. If parents have a concern regarding their child's current program or any other issue(s), please contact the Director, Cristin Checchia at 315-338-6581.
