Youth Art Month kicked off with a very successful art show hosted by the Rome Arts Community Center. The art department received official proclamations from Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon and the Mayor of Rome, Jeffrey Lanigan, recognizing the month of March as Youth Art Month.
We hope to continue celebrating this month with our “Dream in Art” art contest and our closing event, “Get Mugged,” for Youth Art Month. On March 27th, there will be an awards ceremony, raffles, games, food, and more to celebrate our young artists.
