On January 24th, the RFA varsity girls’ basketball team wore pink jerseys during their game against Baldwinsville, to raise awareness and support for breast cancer. “Hoops for a Purpose” awareness/benefit game also honored Coach Evan Howard's wife, Kristen, for her fight against breast cancer. The ceremony took place after the JV game at home. Both Black Knight teams defeated B’Ville. Prior to the game a moment of silence was observed 14-year-old Ava Wood.
