Staff Spotlight for Wednesday, February 7 – Chris Cary

Chris goes above and beyond with his duties and responsibilities as a custodian, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Chris Cary, Custodian at RFA

How long have you worked in the RCSD?
Six years

What do you like most about your job?
The variety of work. I love filling in when needed at other buildings as well as helping as much as I can.

What inspires you?
The people I work with. I enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones wherever I am in the district.

What is a fun fact about you?
My wife, Nicole, has also been a teacher at Rome for almost 20 years!

"Chris will be the first to assist a staff person attempting to carry too much down the hallway or a student struggling with just about anything. Chris is quiet by nature but the first to offer his support to someone in need. Not only has Chris built a positive rapport with students within the building, but he can also be seen with his own children, cheering on various Rome sports teams at both home and away athletic contests,” anonymous.
