The Rome City School District, in partnership with the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce and Mohawk Valley Community College, invites local business leaders to join us for “Empowering Futures: Connecting Business & Education for Tomorrow’s Leaders,” a networking event focused on building stronger connections between education and the future workforce.
The event, which is free to attend, will be held on Tuesday, February 24, from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Mohawk Valley Community College Rome Campus (1101 Floyd Ave., Rome, NY 13440). Light refreshments will be served.
The event aims to bring together business and education partners to:
> Hear the district’s long-term vision aligned with NYS expectations for graduates
> Explore the expansion of a school-to-work pipeline, mentorships, and internships
> Share ideas on how businesses can help shape the next generation of skilled talent
