Please join us as the Strough Drama Club presents Peter Pan Jr. on February 5, 6, and 7 at 7 p.m. at Strough Middle School!
Tickets for each show can be purchased at the door with cash or by check made payable to Strough Drama Club. Tickets are general admission and are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for each date. Cash will also be accepted for any additional purchases in the lobby. Donations are optional but sincerely appreciated.
Based on J.M. Barrie’s classic story, with a memorable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne, and lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is a beloved musical that has delighted audiences worldwide for over 60 years. This production has been adapted for young performers and is an excellent opportunity for families and community members to enjoy live theater.
The story follows Peter Pan and his mischievous fairy companion, Tinkerbell, as they visit the nursery of the Darling children. With a sprinkle of pixie dust, they embark on a magical adventure across the stars, encountering a ticking crocodile, the Brave Girls, a group of bumbling pirates, and the infamous Captain Hook.
Featuring well-known songs such as “I’m Flying,” “I’ve Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up,” and “Never Never Land,” along with a captivating story full of magic and adventure, Peter Pan Jr. is an enchanting production perfect for audiences of all ages. It offers a wonderful opportunity for groups seeking to bring magic and entertainment to their stage while captivating families and children alike.
