National School Counseling Week Graphic

The Rome City School District is proud to celebrate our dedicated team of school counselors during National School Counseling Week!

The 2026 National School Counseling Week, celebrated Feb. 2-6 and sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the essential contributions of school counselors within U.S. school systems and the tremendous impact they have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

Our school counselors are committed to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and career development of all Rome CSD students, working collaboratively with families, teachers, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. They play a vital role in building-wide and district-wide initiatives and events, while also providing individualized support through counseling sessions, small groups, and classroom lessons to ensure that students have the tools they need to navigate challenges and achieve success.

Happy National School Counseling Week and thank you to all our school counselors for all you do to amplify student success! Learn more about our school counselors on the RCSD Counseling Services webpage.
