Pre-Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year will take place from Monday, March 23rd to Friday, March 27th, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Clough PreK Building at 409 Bell Road, Rome. Applications can be picked up and dropped off during the specified times below in the box located outside of the main doors.
For Pre-K (Age 3), the child must be 3 on or before 12/1/26 (born between 12/2/22 and 12/1/23).
For Pre-K (Age 4), the child must be 4 on or before 12/1/26 (born between 12/2/21 and 12/1/22)
The following must be provided at the time of registration:
Proof of age (such as birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport, or proper transfer papers)
Record of current immunizations
Proofs of residency (See Charts below for requirements.)
Custody papers, if the child is not residing with both parents. If the child will be residing with the non-custodial parent, then a parent affidavit will need to be filled
Note: All slots are assigned by lottery and every effort will be made to honor preferences for a location. All completed forms and supporting documentation must be approved by the ECP Staff to be included in the placement lottery which will occur after the registration week of March 23rd-March 27, 2026. Registration for the lottery will close at 4:00 p.m. on March 27, 2026.
Proof of Residency Requirements for Rome City School District Registration
The parent/guardian must provide two(2) forms of proof to include at least one (1) item from Regulation 7003.1 Chart 1 and one (1) item from Regulation 7003.1 Chart 2. The residence listed must be consistent with all submitted documents.
