Dear RCSD Families and Staff,

With the high heat index forecasted for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24, we are making a few adjustments to ensure the health and well-being of our students, while maintaining the continuity of learning and end-of-year activities.

Here is what you can expect:

Students in Grades UPK through 8 will follow a half-day schedule.
Rome Free Academy (RFA) will remain on a regular full-day schedule. The Regents exam schedule will continue as planned.
All evening events, including the RFA Senior Awards Night, will take place as scheduled.
All other district operations will continue as usual.

Please note that all RCSD staff are expected to follow their regular workday schedules. We appreciate your understanding and dedication, especially during these final days of the school year.
