What do I like most about my job?
Making connections and building relationships with students. I am incredibly lucky that I have students for two years. Watching them grow, change, and progress over that time frame is the best part of what I do.
What inspires you?
My students inspire me. They inspire me to have a “growth” mindset; to try to step out of my comfort zone, and to continue to grow and progress. Teaching and learning go hand-in-hand. It is not uncommon that I learn something from THEM! My ‘Strough Family’ also inspires me. I have the pleasure of working with the best staff in the district, and some of the best educators on the planet.
What is a fun fact about you?
I LOVE to cook, and find great pleasure in sharing with staff and students what I bring for lunch every day!
