Congratulations to Rome Free Academy junior Rachel O’Rourke on capturing the NYSPHSAA Section III Girls Golf individual championship!
O’Rourke shot a 75 to capture the title at sectionals, which was held at the Pompey Club golf course on Tuesday, May 19.
O'Rourke will now qualify for the State Golf Tournament, being held June 6-8 at the Wild Wood Country Club (1201 Rush West Rush Rd., Rush, NY 14543; no charge for admission).
