What is your job title?
I am a sixth-grade teacher at John E. Joy Elementary.
How many years have you worked at RCSD?
This is my 7th year teaching in the RCSD. Prior to that I was a substitute teacher in the District.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I have the best job in the world! I get to spend every day with amazing kids. My favorite part is watching them learn and grow.
What inspires you?
The teacher next door inspires me. Our District is full of talented teachers with amazing ideas. They inspire me to make changes and try new things so that I can be the best teacher for my students.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at the RCSD?
My proudest moment is whenever my students take charge of their own learning.
What is a fun fact about you?
I enjoy crocheting!
