Congratulations to Isabella O’Rourke, who has been awarded the SAANYS Region 8 Scholarship, a distinction given to high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional school and community citizenship. A senior at Rome Free Academy set to graduate on June 27, 2025, O’Rourke’s accomplishments in academics, athletics, leadership, and service made her a strong candidate for this honor.
She plans to pursue higher education and a career in business—an interest reflected in her focused selection of business courses and the dedication she brings to them. Her commitment extends far beyond the classroom. At RFA, she has competed on the Varsity Golf, Ski, Swimming and Diving Teams throughout her high school years, managing a rigorous schedule with balance and determination.
O’Rourke also holds leadership roles as Secretary and Treasurer of the Knight Spot, the school store, and as Vice President of the Ski Club. She’s an active member of the French Club and remains involved in her faith community as an altar server and Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist Church.
With her wide-ranging involvement and steady work ethic, Isabella O’Rourke exemplifies the values behind the SAANYS Region 8 Scholarship.
