Students in Mrs. Carpenter's 5th grade class at Stokes got creative with their Volume Zoo Project. All students were engaged in this fun, hands-on learning experience where students built 3D replicas of animals using cardboard boxes. As they constructed their masterpieces, they had to measure and calculate the volume of each rectangular prism and then combine each to find their animal's total volume.
