Athletic Trainer - Emily Baker (M.Ed, LAT, ATC)

About Emily
Emily Baker M.Ed, ATC, LAT joined the RFA Black Knight family in 2019. Emily works with all of the Rome athletics teams, from Varsity to Modified.
Before coming to Rome, Emily was the head athletic trainer for the Smiths Station Panthers in Smiths Station. Alabama. During her time at Smiths Station. Emily worked with all of the 7A high school athletic teams. Emily also assisted in medical coverage for the Alabama State Football Championship games.
Baker earned her Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Exercise Science at Campbell University in Buies Creek NC. During her time with the Fighting Camels, Emily worked with the Softball and Swim teams. Emily received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Canisius College, where she worked with the majority of the Golden Griffins division I athletic teams as well as the University of Buffalo Football and Baseball team.
Emily is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA), New York State Athletic Trainer Association (NYSATA), and is an American Red Cross certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor.
When Emily is not working you can find her with her Husband, Casey, and their dog, Rudi or watching the Buffalo Bills! Go Bills!
